Hump day…………
04/13/2006
Well it seems that yesterday was definately a hump day for some of us. I got home from work just in time to load up the dog and head out for the breeding of the girl in other town. The hubby, who btw never goes out with me decided that maybe he would go along for the ride last night. He apparently needed a break and I had been telling him about the view and how peaceful it was out there. So I told him to get in the car with the dog and to make sure to pay attention cause maybe he would learn a thing or two and we could come home and practice. He laughed and off we went. Well, we got there and the dog went to do his deeds and then we went out and looked over the view. Stacy is the nicest person and her hubby Dennis is great too. Unfortunately he was not home. But we let the dogs do their thing and we talked for a bit with Stac. Once done we went and enjoyed the view for a bit and hubby told her to actually watch for a piece of land out near them as he is seriously considering buying some property and moving out of our town to the country. WOW!
On the way home he was talking about seriously buying and investing some money into a place out of town and keeping the house that we have for the kids and renting it out to make the payment. He wants to be out where the people aren’t right in our back yard and our dogs and horses have the room that they really need without having to rent pasture anymore. Not that the horses are in a bad place but it’s a hassle to always have to find room for them and move them all the time. He also is talking to me about buying his sisters truck so that I have a way to haul them around without having to borrow from my sis her truck all the time. We have a small pickup truck, but it’s just not big enough to haul a horse trailer and I hate to borrow one. It’s a pain and it makes me dependant on someone else all the time. Just not worth it.
I just have a hard time thinking that he is just sick of being in town all of the sudden. He just hates the thought of us being in town all of the time. He has been talking with his nephew alot and he is the cop nephew and they are wanting to get out of town too. They have been talking about going in together and buying some acreage and then building 2 houses on it and splitting the payments on the land. They want out of town too. So now I think that he is actually serious about moving. Or at the very least buying some land for our future. I wish he would hurry up and find something cause that would be great by me. I can’t handle the in town thing anymore. I want a space where the dogs can be free all the time and not have to worry about the nieghbors dogs or the neighbors themselves.
I want pastures for horses, and dogs, and other things, and room to let loose and have no one to bother me if I just want to let it all out. Room for growth and gardens and all the freedom of a huge area for my own. I want no more houses right next door, no more people to complain about water rights and whos house is getting flooded by the irrigation ditch that I have no part of, to have room for the harrowbed to come in and drop the hay that I need for winter and not be landlocked to the hilt. Not have to worry about them putting in apartments across the street that will be nothing but an eyesore, or in the back 2 acres behind me that they are putting in a 6 house culdesac. I am so tired of having to try to deal with it all. Let me have a wide open space for animals and kids and grankids and have a wonderful space to call my own! And the man is sooo finally there with me. And to think all it took was a drive out to the country and talking to the nephew to get the bug up his butt and moving.
But anyway back to the hump day, not only did the dog get it, but hey, it got the hubby in the mood that way too. We got home and there was no kids and we have 3 hours alone for the night and we had a hump fest of our own! WooHOO. I am not on the dry spell for the week !
Catch up Toady! I even got it as much as the dog last night x 2!
Later!~

There is ACREAGE for sale here!!! MOVE HERE! LOL
There is nothing like living out of town. We have 1 1/2 acres which our house is on but the entire farm is 280+! I love it! Wouldn’t live anywhere else!!!
As for the “hump” part of your post… YOU GO GIRL!

HAHA I was gonna SAY… it was all that talk *elsewhere* that did it, wasn’t it?!?! Good for you!!! No such luck here, and the kids were even gone all evening. Pffft. Fooey on jobs, I say. They make us too tired. Let’s all QUIT, and then every day can be hump day!
Which direction you thinkin’ about heading? N/S/E/W? Toward water? That’s all you gotta say, I’ll get the rest figured out.
See what comes of living in the same damn area for *counts* 27 years? Sheeeit.

Moving
It’s hard enough coordinating the family, but then you add in a few horses and it’s impossible….
